Our Peter Dunn has been filmed carrying out a geoenvironmental investigation on site in Manchester for a for a Channel 4 documentary, due to be aired in 2020. It was the first visit to site for the film crew, who plan to film the entire build process of this new build affordable housing development.

The documentary will mark the centenary of affordable housing in the UK, since implementation of the Housing, Town Planning, &c. Act 1919, also known as the Addison Act, named after Dr Christopher Addison, the-then Minister for Housing.

The Act was passed to allow the building of new houses after the First World War and marked the start of a long 20thcentury tradition of state-owned housing, which would eventually evolve into council estates.
