The Role:

Due to our continued growth and client demand, we have the opportunity for a self-motivated individual for the position of Operations Assistant, reporting to the Operations Supervisor.

As Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the smooth running of the Ground Investigation department of The LK Group. The role will require direct contact with clients, contractors, and internal staff. Therefore, excellent communication and organisational skills will be essential.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Responsibilities

  • Ordering data from external sources.
  • Assisting in the planning, organisation, and scheduling of site work.
  • Liaison and co-ordination with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Arranging delivery and collections to sites.
  • Co-ordinate and maintain daily schedules and communication channels.
  • Record upkeep, including administration of internal financial system.
  • Other duties which assist in the day-to-day running of the department.

 Requirements

  • Work well within a team and other colleagues / sub-contractors.
  • Self-motivated team player with exceptional people skills.
  • Ability to work under own initiative while fully co-ordinating with line manager’s requirements.
  • Excellent skills in both written and verbal communication and collaboration with others.
  • Good computer skills in all Microsoft applications.
  • Problem solver and lateral thinker.
  • Experience in planning works, arranging, and managing resources and maintaining relationships with stakeholders would be advantageous.
