The LK Group are thrilled to announce that after another strong top line growth, turnover increased to £9.1 million in 2022/2023, which is a record high for the company.

This is a significant result for The LK Group, which for over 25 years has been providing their technical expertise in ground investigation, land remediation and project management supporting their clients’ development needs on notable large-scale projects across the UK.

The Group have been involved with several clients on high-profile projects this year, including numerous ground investigations on key communication infrastructure programmes across the UK and Europe, land remediation on several high-profile new build developments in the northwest, and project managing Levelling up Funded projects for several Local Authorities.

As part of its continuing growth plans, the Group has also increased capacity and experience across a range of service areas including opening a new office based in Manchester’s up-and-coming area of Ancoats and increasing employee appointments by 20%, alongside key internal promotions taking place throughout 2023.

The Group were also shortlisted in the sustainability category at the Ground Engineering Awards 2023 for their innovative work on Collyhurst Village for Far East Consortium (FEC). With record entries this year, to be a finalist in the sustainability category is an outstanding achievement.

Conor Leyden managing director commented “We have had an amazing year, and a big part of our success is strong performances by each of our divisions and employees. Whilst it has been a challenging time due to the increase of costs for materials and the ongoing issue of cost of living, the Group has continued to demonstrate its resilience by delivering revenue growth and strong cashflows throughout the year. We have more exciting and high-profile projects coming up in our pipeline over the next 6-12 months”.
