Purpose

All buildings with a total floor area greater than 1000m2 occupied by a public authority or those institutions providing a public service visited by a large number of persons require a Display Energy Certificate (DEC).

Method

LK Energy Solutions provide DEC’s which enable the public to see the energy efficiency of a building through the actual energy usage and operational rating.

LK Energy Solutions specialise in managing cost reduction and carbon output, and present clients with an advisory report based on the building's energy consumption as seen by gas, electricity and other energy systems. This advisory report will list measures to improve the building's energy rating.

Result

A DEC is valid for one year with the accompanying Advisory Report being valid for seven years.
