Introduction

Leyden Kirby Associates Limited have experience undertaking Part IIA investigations, comprising GIS based prioritisations and both initial and detailed inspections of sites for several Local Authorities.This has included the creation of GIS tables and databases, the writing of a detailed Preliminary Risk Assessments (B20a assessment), site investigations and Detailed Quantitative Risk Assessments.

Further Information

We have also undertaken investigations and assessments on a property basis for homeowners who have been unable to sell their properties due to conveyancing and environmental searches which have indicated their house is built on an area of potentially contaminated land. 

This has involved close liaison with both the Local Authority and the search company in order to provide the property with the necessary certification.
