Introduction
Land Condition Records were born out of a report by the Urban Task Force in 1999 entitled "Towards an Urban Renaissance". One of the many issues covered by the report was the uncertainty in buying, selling and developing brownfield land. A standardised sytem for reporting, the Land Condition Record (LCR), was produced by an expert Steering Group and launched in November 2000.
Further Information
The LCR is a comprehensive document that addresses all land quality issues affecting a piece of land and is structured to provide an overall picture of the land. The LCR records factually what has taken place on the land and assembles the information in one place in a logical format.
The LCR can only be completed by a registered Specialist in Land Conditon (SiLC). In order to become a SiLC, a contaminated land professional must demonstrate a high level of professional qualification and experience.
Leyden Kirby Associates benefit from having SiLC registered staff and are please to be able to offer LCR services to our clients.
