Purpose

When our survey recommends removal as opposed to management of asbestos, LK Associates can provide a complete project management service. Small unlicensed products can be removed in a timely manner by our own staff while larger works, notifiable to the HSE, can be procured from suitable and approved Licensed Asbestos removal contractors at pre negotiated discounted rates

Method

A Typical Management Project will include the following:

Site meetings to outline the recommended course of action
Selection of a suitable, independent, HSE Licensed removal contractor.
Provision of plans for the scope of works
Witness to smoke test.
On site inspections throughout the contract
A final report including ASB5 Notification to the HSE, Background air monitoring for duration of the works, Reassurance air tests, 4 stage Clearance certificates. Hazardous waste transfer, disposal and consignment notes

Result

Companies who have used our services find that they readily comply with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 and that the stress of procuring value for money, services and monitoring remediation work is taken away.
