Accredited Reinspection Programs
On completion of a management survey the duty holder has a further requirement to manage the findings of the report on an ongoing basis. The client would be expected to run a program of re-inspections to monitor the condition of the installations outlined in the report. There remains a duty to protect all maintenance workers either visiting or employed by the duty holder from accidental exposure to Asbestos fibres. The report must be made available for review prior to any minor works being undertaken.
Method
LK Assure would arrange a schedule of re-inspections to be carried out at an appropriate time, usually every six months for higher risk items and annually for lower risk items. Each asbestos item identified within the asbestos management report would be inspected to assess the condition and check that the risk rating remains as stated within the report. Any changes in site usage would be monitored and any change in the priority risk assessment would be highlighted to the client.
Result
The client's on-going risks will be managed in line with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006.
LK Assure have extensive experience working with large companies, Local Authorities and property management companies that have all seen excellent results.
